Adirondack Sky Pilot
Ministry based on the missionaries to lumberjacks
Is the rapid pace of life in our world
   GETTING YOU DOWN?
Do you feel pushed, jostled, abused, misled, put down, ignored, hastled, forgotten or just "left in the woods," while the world races towards
   WHO KNOWS WHAT?
Do churches, nice as they are for what they do, remind you more of these feelings than the words of Jesus...
"Come to me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest?"

A dying lumberjack in the early years of the 20th century challenged a certain "skypilot," (the lumberjack term for "preacher"). The "skypilot" had come to his lumbercamp with that message of hope. After thanking him for the message he said...
  "Now I'm going home. I can't help
my fellow lumberjacks but you can.
They need you more than the churches
do. Go back and tell them the old
story that Christ can make them
  live."
Adirondack lumberjacks rarely stay in camps any more, but people still feel "left in the woods."
Are you one?
I live in the woods!
I accept that challenge!
